This is already one of the longest running and most recurring rumors for Knott’s Berry Farm.
For at least 10 to 15 years, the park has been looking for the opportunity to open a Giga coaster somewhere in the park.
According to Screamscape sources, realization of these plans is finally one step closer, because the next part of the plans has finally been approved. The possible opening of this Giga coaster is now planned for sometime in 2023.
The station of this track will be located on the site of the Mystery Lodge that was closed a few years ago and the rest of the track would run over the parking lot south of the park, towards the KBF hotel.
The first preparatory work in the area of the former Mystery Lodge could start as early as Q1 or Q2 of 2022.
