Recently some rumors appeared online about Kings Dominion getting a new B&M Wing Coaster with a Monster Jam theme for 2021, as a replacement for their removed Volcano coaster.
Kings Dominion fanssite KDFans.com has managed to get their hands on a possible layout proposal for a replacement coaster. Because this is just a proposal, this layout still can change and aren’t the final plans for the new ride.
The layout shows a roughly 100ft tall coaster with 5 inversions. It will be one of the shortest wingcoasters build. And it will probably running with only 2 trains.
When you checkout this layout proposal, you can spot similarities with a already build wingcoaster, Heaven’s Wing at HB World. But there are also some differences between both layouts. The possible Kings Dominion layout has it’s vertical loop removed and the final helix.
A concept for a possible Monster Jam themed coaster train was already presented by Feld Entertainment last year. It is yet unknown if trains with this design would run on this Kings Dominion coaster.
