When all rumors are true, 2018 will be a great year for the European B&M fans.
The Liseberg themepark in Sweden has already confirmed that they will open a new Dive Coaster and for Dutch Toverland is rumored to get a new Wing Coaster.
And then their are the rumors for the Drayton Manor themepark in the UK. They will probably get a new B&M Floorless Coaster.
According these rumors it will NOT be a transformation of the parks old Stand-up coaster, because that is a Intamin coaster and not a B&M. No the park will get a brand new coaster instead.
Right now there’s no information about the size or the location of this new ride.
EDIT 03 Sept 2023:
Damn, it took a very long time, over 6,5 years, to get an update on this news.
Drayton Manor will get a new coaster in 2024, but sadly it will be a reconfiguration of their old Intamin Standup coaster Shockwave and not a totally new coaster.
This “new” coaster will be a sit-down conversion or maybe even a floorless coaster. All to make this a more family friendly coaster.
It is unknown if these new trains will be from B&M, Intamin or any other compagny.
2024 will see a HUGE change come to Shockwave at Drayton Manor! In our latest video I chat with Victoria Lynn, managing director of the park. She talks all about these exciting changes coming to the ride along with the NEW coaster ➡️ https://t.co/ien3P3CtTz pic.twitter.com/g3MISPdDbV
